Horses Bring Happiness....FACT
Yeah, I'm one of those stange horse obsessed people... I ride 3 times a week and have been for 11 years - I am now 17 so it is a large proportion of my life.. I mainly compete in carriage driving with other peoples horses as don't own my own...yet. I love computers (especially macs) and I spend a lot of my time on www.howrse.com, facebook and of course, Tumblr. I have a cat called Dennis and he is awesome...I may post some piccys of him soon. My tumblr is mostly related to animals but more frequently horses than any other species....please follow me! - the chances are I will follow back if you post similar stuff to me! :)

We are horse people - you don’t have to understand us! We know that all external medicine is either waterproof, blue, pink, or yellow. We have no problem eating a sandwich directly after mucking stalls. We know why a thermometer has to have a string attached to the end. We are not welcome in laundromats. We don’t think anything sexual if someone talks about chains, spurs, whips or leather. We can lower our voice instantly by 5 octaves to shout at a horse pawing at the floor. We have better insurance for our horse than our car. We know more about our horse’s diet than our own. We buy grain and hay before buying our own food. We have less to wear than our horse. Our hobby is creating more work than our job. We buy more pairs of shoes for our horses than we do ourselves. We know that mucking a stable or hearing a horse nicker, is the best cure for depression. And we are well aware that this hobby seems to attract mentally unstable people. Reblog if you are one of us.

Been quiet lately…..
I guess Im quite bored… Mostly wasting my time on tumblr and various other ‘social’ sites. Enough of the riding, turning out to be more of a chore than first expected. Since Ive been working at the stables for a couple of months now, repitition is beginning to kick in.

Same every week.. same horses every week. I know I’m lucky riding all these horses and I should appreciate it more. Its turning more like work than play.
